What does an Ultrasound Tech do?
An ultrasound tech is trained to perform a diagnostic medical sonography and provide adequate images from which a clinical interpretation can be made for diagnostic purposes. The sonographers report their findings to their sonologist/radiologist or immediate supervisor.

What will I study during the program?
You will learn everything related to diagnostic medical sonography. The curriculum is focused to train you as successful sonographer. We include preparation on the content areas for the Sonography exams in Abdominal, OB/GYN and Physics.
What kind of job prospects are available?
“Employment of diagnostic medical sonographers is expected to grow by 44 percent between 2010 and 2020, much faster than the average for all occupations. As ultrasound technology evolves, it will become a more common method used to assist in diagnosing medical conditions, favored over more invasive procedures.” (Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Outlook Handbook, 2012-13 Edition)
